Index description

The MOEX Russia 15 Index — Main Session is a composite index of the Russian equity market, calculated by the Exchange using transaction prices for the most liquid shares with the highest market capitalization admitted to trading on the Exchange. The MOEX Russia 15 Index differs from the Blue Chip Index (MOEXBC) in its cap on the maximum weight of a single issuer. The official closing index value for the trading day is the value calculated at the end of the main trading session. This index provides intraday values for the main session.
