The NAUFOR Board of Directors approved a new version of the Standard for Determining the Net Asset Value of Mutual Investment Funds and the Value of Investment Units on March 23, 2021. The management company turned to the Cbonds team to jointly establish the conditions for calculating issuer impairment criteria.

The Cbonds team studied the regulatory acts, on the basis of which 6 basic criteria were developed. Based on these criteria, calculations of metrics were developed and automated, allowing the management company to quickly monitor signals on a daily basis in order to comply with the newly introduced regulations.

As part of its industry analytics and preparation of regular reviews, the bank needed data on hub indexes published hourly by the primary source, including weekends and holidays. The hub index is a key element in the wholesale electricity market in Russia, reflecting the average market price of electricity in a specific geographical area.

The Cbonds team fulfilled the Bank’s request, as part of the Cbonds API service: automated the collection and processing of the necessary data, ensured minimal lag during loading, and adapted the output format to the Bank's usual format.This significantly reduced the time required for integration with the new data source and simplified the work of analysts, eliminating the need to refine internal processes.
