The index reflects the dynamics of copper prices as a key commodity asset on the global market. It is calculated based on copper futures contracts traded on leading commodity exchanges. The index is an indicator of the value of copper in US dollars. The calculation methodology takes into account the rollover of futures contracts to ensure data continuity.
