Index description

The oats futures contract is a CME commodity instrument used for managing price risks in the agro-industry and serves as a base asset for the feed crops market with primary trading in the USA. In August 2026 the maximum reached 348.75 cents/bushel, the minimum was 309.75 cents/bushel and the average level stood at 325.48 cents/bushel. The price is based on continuous physically settled futures of No. 1 oats and heavy No. 2 oats delivered to CME-designated warehouses.
