Index description

Maize, FOB (IMF) is a commodity index reflecting prices of U.S. No. 2 Yellow maize from the Gulf of Mexico on FOB terms and serves as a price reference for exports with primary trading in the USA. In 2026 the maximum reached 215.62 USD/tonne, the minimum was 183.02 USD/tonne and the average level stood at 200.60 USD/tonne. The index is based on prices of maize (corn), U.S. No. 2 Yellow, FOB Gulf of Mexico, U.S. price.
