Index description

Sorghum (IMF) is a commodity index tracking prices of No. 2 yellow sorghum from the US Gulf and serves as an indicator in agricultural trading with primary trading in the USA. In 2026 the maximum reached 9.48 cents/pound, the minimum was 7.73 cents/pound and the average level stood at 8.64 cents/pound. The index is based on prices of sorghum (U.S.), Number 2 yellow, f.o.b. Gulf of Mexico.
