Index description

Rice, Vietnamese 5 % (World Bank) is a commodity index reflecting prices of 5 % broken rice from Vietnam and serves as an indicator in global agricultural trade with the primary producing country Vietnam. In 2026 the maximum reached 391.30 USD/tonne, the minimum was 345.80 USD/tonne and the average level stood at 363.10 USD/tonne. The index is based on weekly indicative survey prices of 5 % broken white rice, milled, Minimum Export Price, f.o.b. Hanoi.
