Index description

Rice, Thai 5 % (World Bank) is a commodity index tracking prices of 5 % broken white rice from Thailand and serves as an indicator in international agricultural trade with the primary producing country Thailand. In 2026 the maximum reached 494.00 USD/tonne, the minimum was 356.00 USD/tonne and the average level stood at 392.64 USD/tonne. The index is based on indicative prices of 5 % broken white rice, milled, government standard, f.o.b. Bangkok.
