Index description

Rice, Thai A.1 (World Bank) is a commodity index tracking prices of 100 % broken A.1 Super rice from Thailand and serves as a benchmark in agricultural trading with the primary producing country Thailand. In 2026 the maximum reached 469.40 USD/tonne, the minimum was 335.90 USD/tonne and the average level stood at 375.59 USD/tonne. The index is based on prices of rice (Thailand), 100 % broken, A.1 Super, government standard, f.o.b. Bangkok.
