The index reflects the dynamics of the Vietnamese stock market through aggregated data on key stocks traded on the local stock exchange. It covers companies listed and traded on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and is denominated in Vietnamese Dong (VND). The index is based on a basket of the most liquid and capitalized stocks representing a wide range of economic sectors. The index calculation takes into account changes in stock prices without taking into account dividend income.
