The index is designed to measure the dynamics of Mongolia's stock market based on key companies. It covers the 20 largest publicly traded companies on the Mongolian Stock Exchange and is calculated in the national currency, the Mongolian tugrik. The index is a basket of stocks reflecting the state of the most liquid market segment. The calculation methodology takes into account the market capitalization adjusted for the free float of shares.
