Index description

The index reflects the dynamics of the Chinese stock market through the largest companies traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It covers the 50 most capitalized companies denominated in Hong Kong dollars and is a key indicator of the state of the Chinese stock market. The index is based on weighted market capitalization and belongs to the segment of large corporations.
