The index reflects the dynamics of the stock market of Turkmenistan based on the most liquid stocks traded on the local stock exchange. It covers the 30 largest companies by market capitalization, denominated in the Turkmen manat. The index is a basket of stocks reflecting the overall profitability of a key market segment. The index calculation takes into account both the change in stock prices and the reinvestment of dividends (total return).
