Index description

The Bloomberg Commodity Index (BCOM) is a diversified commodity indicator based on 23 futures across six sectors, designed to reduce concentration risk and used as a benchmark for the global commodity market. In June 2026 the maximum reached 137.22 index points, the minimum was 122.20 index points and the average stood at 129.40 index points. Launched in 1998, the index applies caps on individual commodity and sector weights.
