Index description

The Silver ETF Volatility Index (VXSLV) measures the expected 30-day volatility of silver prices based on options on the iShares Silver Trust ETF and serves as an indicator of market sentiment in the precious metals market. In September 2026 the maximum reached 49.62 %, the minimum was 35.99 % and the average stood at 42.85 %. High VXSLV values signal anticipated elevated price volatility in silver.
