Index description

The Silver ETF Volatility Index (VXSLV) measures the expected 30-day volatility of silver prices based on options on the iShares Silver Trust ETF and serves as an indicator of market sentiment in the precious metals market. In June 2026 the maximum reached 55.08 %, the minimum was 45.33 % and the average stood at 49.99 %. High VXSLV values signal anticipated elevated price volatility in silver.
