Index description

Used Cooking Oil (UCO) in the US is a cash-settled futures contract based on Fastmarkets assessments for UCO on the Gulf Coast and is used in biodiesel production. In August 2026 the maximum reached 0.79 USD/pound, the minimum was 0.76 USD/pound, and the average level stood at 0.77 USD/pound. The futures acts as a pricing benchmark for the US UCO market and is based on Fastmarkets daily assessments.
