Wood Chips (Lithuania) is an index reflecting the weighted average price of wood chip deliveries via anonymous auctions on the Baltpool platform and is used to monitor the biofuel market in the Baltic energy sector. In May 2026 the maximum reached 22.88 EUR/MWh, the minimum was 20.84 EUR/MWh, and the average level stood at 21.94 EUR/MWh. The index serves as a pricing benchmark for biomass in Lithuania and is calculated from Baltpool auction data.
