Wood Chips (Latvia) is an index of the average price for wood chips for deliveries in Latvia via auctions on the Baltpool platform and promotes transparency in the biomass market in the Baltic energy sector. In July 2026 the maximum reached 27.50 EUR/MWh, the minimum was 21.36 EUR/MWh, and the average level stood at 24.31 EUR/MWh. The index acts as a pricing benchmark for biofuels in Latvia and is based on Baltpool auction data.
