The Lean Hogs index is a CFD on lean hog carcasses tracking financially settled CME futures and serving as a key price benchmark for hedging and speculation in the US pork market. In July 2026 the maximum reached 103.10 cents/lb, the minimum was 93.35 cents/lb, with an average level of 98.07 cents/lb. The index price is based on the contract for difference tracking CME futures.
