The Beef (IMF) index represents the CIF import price of Australian and New Zealand 85 % lean beef into the US and serves as a benchmark for the meat market of Australia and New Zealand. In 2026 the maximum reached 351.41 cents/lb, the minimum was 309.07 cents/lb, with an average level of 330.71 cents/lb. The index is based on 85 % lean beef, CIF US.
