The wood price index reflects the weighted average value of various timber species in India and serves as a price benchmark for construction and woodworking industries. In 2026-07 the maximum reached 839.80 INR/100 kg, the minimum — 525.81 INR/100 kg, with an average of 636.45 INR/100 kg. The index is calculated on the basis of Indian regional data.
