The Cameroon sapele sawnwood price index reflects the value of African timber on the international market and serves as a price benchmark for construction and woodworking. In 2026 the minimum value reached 628.90 USD/tonne, the maximum — 651.10 USD/tonne, with an average of 642.99 USD/tonne. The index is based on sawnwood of 6 inches or more in width, f.a.s. Cameroonian ports, sourced from World Bank data.
