The IMF Douglas fir soft logs price index reflects the average export price of North American softwood and serves as a benchmark for international softwood log trade. In 2026 the minimum value reached 156.66 USD/m?, the maximum — 222.22 USD/m?, with an average of 194.43 USD/m?. The index is calculated on the basis of US export prices sourced from IMF data.
