The IMF Malaysian meranti logs price index reflects the import value of premium Malaysian timber and serves as a benchmark for Japan’s tropical timber market. In 2026 the minimum value reached 185.30 USD/m?, the maximum — 201.56 USD/m?, with an average of 193.05 USD/m?. The index is based on Japanese import prices sourced from IMF data.
