The index represents the price of iron ore with 62% iron content as feedstock for the metallurgical industry; China is the key trading region and benchmark for import supplies. In 2026-06 the maximum was 105.13 USD/ton, the minimum — 100.20 USD/ton, the average level — 101.86 USD/ton. The index is based on CFR delivery terms to Tianjin port.
