The index represents the export spot price for iron ore fines with 63.5% iron content and serves as an indicator for the raw-materials market in metallurgy; India is a significant supplier for the Asian market. In 2026 the maximum was 114.00 USD/ton, the minimum — 54.80 USD/ton, the average level — 76.96 USD/ton. The index is based on FOB delivery terms.
