Index description

The index is a continuous futures contract on steel rebar used for hedging price risks in the metallurgical industry and construction; China is the key trading region and price benchmark. In 2026-08 the maximum was 3130.00 CNY/ton, the minimum — 2977.00 CNY/ton, the average level — 3032.05 CNY/ton. The index is based on HRB400E steel prices according to GB/T 1499.2-2018 with delivery to SHFE-designated warehouses.
