The index reflects a futures contract on iron ore with 62% iron content used for hedging price risks in the metallurgical industry; China is the primary trading region on the Dalian Commodity Exchange. In 2026-07 the maximum was 762.00 CNY/ton, the minimum — 715.00 CNY/ton, the average level — 743.43 CNY/ton. The index includes delivery to DCE-designated warehouses.
