Index description

The index represents a continuous futures contract on iron ore with 58% iron content as a hedging tool in metallurgy; China serves as the key trading region and price benchmark on SGX. In 2026-06 the maximum was 91.40 USD/ton, the minimum — 84.11 USD/ton, the average level — 87.16 USD/ton. The index refers to fines with CFR delivery basis to China.
