The index reflects the dynamics of the Peruvian stock market based on key companies traded on the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL). It is calculated in the national currency of Peru (PEN) and covers a wide range of sectors of the country's economy. The index represents a basket of shares of the largest and most liquid issuers included in the BVL listing. This index takes into account total return, including dividends and reinvestment.
