The IPC Mexico (S&P/BMV IPC) (Ticker:^MXX) is a major stock market index that tracks the performance of the largest and most liquid stocks listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. The constituents are weighted by modified market cap. S&P Dow Jones Indices initiated the calculation of this index on June 5, 2017. Prior to that date, the legacy index had been calculated by the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores since October 30, 1978.
