The index is designed to measure the dynamics of the Zimbabwe stock market based on stocks in the industrial sector. It covers key companies traded on the Zimbabwean Stock Exchange and is denominated in the Zimbabwean dollar. The index is a basket of stocks reflecting the state of the industrial segment of the country's economy.
