The index reflects the continuous financially settled naphtha futures contract (CIF NWE) and serves as the primary benchmark for petrochemical feedstock pricing worldwide. In July 2026 the maximum reached 833.63 USD/ton, the minimum was 609.81 USD/ton, averaging 720.55 USD/ton. The index is compiled from a rolling series of cash-settled futures.
