Brent/Soybean Oil Ratio measures the price of Brent crude relative to soybean oil, linking the oil market with the cost of a biodiesel feedstock. A rising ratio indicates that crude oil is becoming more expensive relative to soybean oil and, all else being equal, may improve the price competitiveness of soybean oil-based biodiesel.
