Index description

Crude oil, WTI (World Bank) is the US West Texas Intermediate grade with 40° API, used as a key benchmark for US oil in the energy sector calculated by the World Bank, serving as a price reference for the North American market. In 2026 prices ranged from 57.90 USD/bbl. to 99.10 USD/bbl. with an average of 73.55 USD/bbl. The index is based on WTI spot prices from Midland, Texas.
