Index description

Crude oil, Dubai (World Bank) is the Dubai Fateh grade with 32° API, used as a benchmark for Middle East oil in the energy sector calculated by the World Bank, serving as a price reference for Asian markets. In 2026 prices ranged from 63.91 USD/bbl. to 94.67 USD/bbl. with an average of 81.61 USD/bbl. From 1985, the index is based on Dubai Fateh, and in 1960–84 on Saudi Arabian Light 34° API.
