Index description

Crude oil, average (World Bank) is the equally weighted average spot price of Brent, Dubai and West Texas Intermediate, used as a global oil market indicator in the energy sector calculated by the World Bank, serving as a price benchmark for international comparisons. In 2026 prices ranged from 60.90 USD/bbl. to 103.90 USD/bbl. with an average of 79.36 USD/bbl. The index covers equally weighted prices of three key grades.
