Index description

The main purpose of the Business Tendency Surveys is to monitor the current business situation and forecasting short-term developments (current quarter and next quarter). The question is asked in the construction sector and is formulated as follows \"How has your building activity developed over the past 3 months? It has ... 1) increased, 2) remain unchanged, 3) decreased\". The measure used for this indicator is a seasonally adjusted balance (difference between positive and negative answers in % points of total answers). The last observation is dated Q4 2021.
