Index description

The main purpose of the Business Tendency Surveys is to monitor the current business situation and forecasting short-term developments (current month and next 3-4 months). MANUFACTURING CONFIDENCE INDICATOR: The industrial confidence indicator is the arithmetic average of the balances (difference between positive and negative answers in % points of total answers) of the answers to the questions on: production - future tendency; finished goods stocks - level; and order books - level. The last observation is dated January 2022.
