Index description

UK Gas is a futures contract on natural gas delivered at the National Balancing Point (NBP) in the United Kingdom, serving as the national benchmark for gas prices. In August 2026 the maximum reached 169.17 GBP/therm, the minimum was 128.04 GBP/therm, and the average level stood at 151.52 GBP/therm. Contracts provide for physical delivery via the NBP virtual trading point.
