Index description

Natural gas, Europe (World Bank) represents the price of natural gas based on the TTF mechanism in the Netherlands, serving as a benchmark for the European gas market. In 2026 the maximum reached 17.91 USD/million BTU, the minimum was 9.48 USD/million BTU, and the average level stood at 11.73 USD/million BTU. Since April 2015 the price has been based on TTF; data are provided by the World Bank.
