The zinc futures contract is a physically settled instrument on the London Metal Exchange with a minimum purity of 99.995 %, used for hedging in galvanization and metallurgy, where the LME serves as a global price benchmark. In June 2026 the maximum reached 3640.95 USD/ton, the minimum was 3418.25 USD/ton and the average level stood at 3546.15 USD/ton. The price is based on continuous physically settled futures of zinc (ZS) with deliveries to approved warehouses.
