The lithium commodity index (IMF) tracks the price for 99 % purity lithium, used in energy and battery production, where the global market serves as a key indicator for the renewable energy sector. In 2026 the maximum reached 174127.18 CNY/ton, the minimum was 82990.08 CNY/ton and the average level stood at 132028.27 CNY/ton. The index is based on Lithium Metal =99 %, Battery Grade.
