The lithium carbonate index on SGX tracks prices for battery grade lithium, used in batteries, where China, Korea, and Japan serve as the main regions and price benchmark for lithium. In May 2026 prices ranged from 22.00 USD/kg to 24.43 USD/kg with an average level of 21.31 USD/kg. The index is based on Lithium carbonate, delivery to CJK, CIF delivery basis, properties: battery class.
