Index description

Sugar, world (World Bank) is the daily price for raw sugar FOB Caribbean ports under the International Sugar Agreement and constitutes the global price benchmark for the agricultural and food sectors. In 2026 the maximum reached 0.35 USD/kg, the minimum was 0.31 USD/kg, and the average stood at 0.33 USD/kg. The index is published by the World Bank and is used to track global sugar exports.
