Index description

The daily cocoa price index published by the International Cocoa Organization serves as the benchmark for the global cocoa market in the agricultural sector. In 2026 the maximum reached 7.60 USD/kg, the minimum stood at 3.24 USD/kg and the average level was 4.87 USD/kg. The price is the average of the first three positions on the New York and London terminal markets for the nearest three trading months.
