This simplifies the calculation of compounded interest rates and in doing so provides a standardised basis through its publication as an official source. The SONIA Compounded Index is available on source by 10am on the business day after it is first published.
Index value can be retrieved via Cbonds add-in for Excel using the formula CbondsIndexValue(71213, date)
