The index reflects the dynamics of the Russian stock market through key high-cap companies. It is based on a basket of the 10 largest publicly traded companies on the Moscow Stock Exchange and is denominated in Russian rubles. The index is a market capitalization-weighted indicator reflecting the overall profitability of a selected market segment. The calculation methodology takes into account both the change in share prices and the reinvestment of dividends (total return).
Index value can be retrieved via Cbonds add-in for Excel using the formula CbondsIndexValue(35301, date)
