The index reflects the dynamics of the Hungarian stock market based on key stocks traded on the Budapest Stock Exchange. It is calculated taking into account companies representing the main sectors of the country's economy, and is denominated in Hungarian forints. The index is based on a basket of the most liquid and capitalized stocks, reflecting the general market trend. The calculation methodology includes weighting by market capitalization with periodic rebalancing of the composition.
