Index description

The Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Indicator (BCI) is a consolidated macroeconomic indicator reflecting the overall state of business activity in the Russian economy. It is calculated monthly based on surveys (monitoring) of enterprises in key economic sectors, excluding the financial sector. This index reflects seasonally adjusted data.
